LIFE WORTH LIVING

DECIDE THAT IT IS WORTHWHILE AND TO ENJOY THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE . DO NOT TO EXPECT INSTANT GRATIFICATION. TAKE A SLOWER PACE AND MEDITATE ON PEACE AND GOODNESS.

Do not Love the World

Whether this was written by George Carlin or not, I love the message.
Paradox of Our TimeBy George Carlin?
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment,
more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor.
We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. . .______________________________________
May we all live fulfilling lives because we sidestep these trends

You know
Organic?

SuperFoodsRx is all about incorporating nutrient dense whole foods into your diet and thinking about food for more than just a meal or snack but as playing an essential role in preventing a host of diseases. In the process of shopping for healthy foods you may be one of us that is confused by the terms natural and organic? Let's try to clear it up so we know what we are buying into.Organic refers specifically to the farming elements used to grow our food. Most conventional bug sprays and other chemicals are not used in the growing of produce and antibiotics and growth hormones are prohibited for livestock. The term "natural" might be the most confusing since there are no defined standards. The FDA does state that in order for foods to bear the term "natural," they must be "minimally processed and free of synthetic preservatives; artificial sweeteners; colors and flavors and other additives; hydrogenated oils; stabilizers and emulsifiers." There are many, many items in the stores that utilize the "natural" term.Natural foods are not necessarily organic and many organic products still contain pesticides. For a product to be labeled organic, it must meet USDA standards and be certified. The SuperFoods are a group on the most nutritious whole foods and can help you prevent disease, eat healthier, and provide environmental awareness. Keep in mind that not every natural or organic food is necessarily a healthy food (organic potato chips for example), you can be assured though that the most basic, minimally process whole foods are a good place to start.

When you are young, your face is smooth and you have lots of energy but as you get older you find out that there are things that you can't do as you use to unless you keep working at it in a consistant way.

Like excersizing the body or the brain helps keep you young.

There is also the food you eat andd if there are chemicals in the food or if it is microwaved the nutritional value may be lacking and you will feel no matter how much you try to eat healthily , if you do not have mostly organic food and natural foods there will be a change in the makeup of your body as the years go by so it will slow down quicker then it would if you stayed as much as possible to the natural way of life.
