Dark circles? Remedies home made

HOME REMEDIES FOR DARK CIRCLES UNDER THE EYES

Dark circles under the eyes tell us about the health of an individual. They are produced due to overstrain, after an illness or an allergy. They can also be the result of undernourishment. But these dark circles do not produce any harm to the body. So anybody with dark circles should not worry about them. In fact, sometimes they're not even an indication of physical problems.

Dark circles can be aggravated by fatigue, allergies, overexposure to the sun, menstruation or pregnancy. But they're usually hereditary; if your parents have them, there are more chances that you do, too have them.

Dark circles are the result of the engorged blood vessels under your eyes. Because the skin under eyes is thinner than skin anywhere else on body, therefore blood vessels there are more noticeable, especially in fair skinned persons. Usually, dark circles are caused by hyper pigmentation of melanin, the substance that gives color to the skin.

In western countries, the kidneys are related to the adrenal glands and with stress levels in life being so high; these glands are very often exhausted. When these glands are weakened, allergies are prevalent. Dark circles under the eyes are known to be a classic symptom of an allergy, together other signs including edema and fatigue.

Dark circles under eyes may also be due to aging which thins the skin around the eyes. Eight hours of sleep is essential. Do not leave cream on the skin around the eyes for long periods. Circles under the eyes can worsen in people who smoke or suffer from allergies.

Tomatoes with Beans

Try recipes with beans as it is a cheap healthy protein

White Beans and Tomatoes - You need: Crock-pot, Olive oil, onion, garlic, 3 6” stalks of fresh rosemary, large can of diced tomatoes, and 2 cans of white/northern beans. Sauté chopped onions in olive oil in the crock-pot on the high setting for about 15 minutes. Add chopped garlic and sauté for 5 more minutes. Then add the rest of the ingredients and let it cook on low in the crock-pot for however long you want. Nothing in this recipe needs cooking so its just a matter of the longer it cooks together the more flavor it will have. I live in Northern California and rosemary is a ubiquitous landscaping plant here so I have an endless free supply. I think it is prolific in other parts of the country too. You might add a little cumin or Tabasco sauce too. Serve with brown bread and a little parmesan chee

Rice With Frozen peas or other Vegetables

Fried Rice – You need: Rice, frozen peas, 2 eggs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger. I like to make rice ahead of time on the weekend and eat it several times. I usually cook rice in chicken bouillon for flavor. So sauté onion and add frozen peas to defrost. Scramble eggs in same pan. Add rice, ginger, and garlic. Add soy sauce and some sesame oil to taste.

Heath and healing received by others through physic spiritual help

http://www.journeyofthesoul.com/healing.htm

Healing Others by Healing Ourselves?

A few weeks ago an email crossed my desk about a psychotherapist in Hawaii named Dr Hew Len who has an even more radical approach to healing. According to his account while employed by the Hawaii State Hospital (HSH) for four years, Dr Hew Len endeavored to treat and cure an entire ward of criminally insane patients without ever meeting, or physically interacting with, any of them. In addition, as the patients began to steadily improve and even get released, conditions on the ward also improved with the result that staff morale went up even as turnover and absenteeism declined.

How did he do it? Well, according to Dr Hew Len’s testimony instead of interacting with patients he simply sat in his office with a patient’s file open before him while he "worked on himself." And how did he work on himself? By repeating over and over "I’m sorry" and "I love you".

You see, according to Dr Hew Len he was simply healing the part of himself that created them. In his way of thinking each person’s mind is their very own personal movie projector and everything they see in their world is their responsibility because they are the one who’s projecting it. If you don’t like the movie you’re watching it’s up to you to change the movie. Because to heal anyone of anything we must first neutralize the negative energy we associate with that person. To do that we must first ask forgiveness for having held that person in a negative way, in our own minds, and then allow ourselves to feel love toward that person.

Needless to say, if Dr Hew Len is correct, the implications for our entire view of reality would be nothing short of staggering. Given my own background with psychic healing, and having been a lifetime student of Carlos Castaneda’s ideas about the nature of reality, I was probably somewhat more open to considering Dr Hew Len’s radical views than most, so I decided to recirculate the email among a few select people in my own circle. One of those who received it was a friend by the name of Aliman Sears, President of the Hawaii Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association. His response, however, stimulated a whole new set of issues for me to ponder. Here, edited for brevity, is the essence of what he had to say.

"I've worked at HSH on and off for the past seven years as a community based psychiatric case manager and team leader. I suppose if there was some solid evidence about what Dr. Hew Len did, I would have at least heard rumors about him. However, in the case of HSH, even if there was a temporal relation between his utterances and the healing of the patients, that doesn't mean that there was also a causal link. Without a study showing that link, I'm skeptical. The HSH has been under a Consent Decree as a result of a federal lawsuit, and the DOJ has put severe pressure on the Hawaii Dept. of Health to improve. As a result, the HSH has made huge leaps forward. I saw it transform myself. And it was due to a lot of hard work by a lot of people across a wide spectrum of state and private service providers. The DOH lit a HUGE fire under a lot of people all across the management and treatment spectrum, and the result--it's true--was that everything, including the patients improved drastically. Whole wings did close, but it was because the census dropped and other reasons. My guess is that if such cures would have happened, especially in "a whole ward," it really would be big news. Again, I'm not saying this didn't happen, I'm saying I'm skeptical in the absence of evidence."

Aliman raised the one question that any scientist worth his salt would ask. Where’s the evidence of a causal link? How do we prove such a claim? Still, the question is not altogether unlike looking for proof of the existence of God in a test tube. Surely, I thought to myself, a man as deeply spiritual as I know Aliman to be would see the irony in that. And that’s when I felt an epiphany coming on.

I found myself thinking about a psychic healing project that I had undertaken with the help of several friends just a week earlier… a project to heal a terminally ill patient with inoperable cancer whom the doctors had already given up for dead… a patient who just happened to be a champion race horse named Lost in the Fog, winner of the national Eclipse Award for best sprinter of 2005. In fact, just days earlier I had discussed the project with George Noory on his nationally syndicated radio show Coast to Coast AM, a conversation which actually inspired the writing of this article.

What occurred to me was that on the day we started turning off the "faucets" that control the blood flow to Fog’s tumors everyone connected with the horse had already given him up for dead. All they were committed to doing was making him comfortable for however many days he had left until he would finally have to be euthanized. Then, four days into our daily treatments, a new article appeared in the Daily Racing Form announcing that the horse was "doing remarkably well" and they were not giving up on him after all. In fact, the doctors had decided to employ an aggressive regimen of steroids in an effort to, of all things, "shrink his tumors." Well, imagine that.

Upon hearing this news I began to wonder if perhaps all our efforts at sending healing energies to this horse may have affected more than just his tumors. Maybe we were affecting the consciousness of everyone around him as well. The good news from all this was that with everyone pulling for Lost in the Fog he now had a better chance of beating his cancer than anyone had imagined. The bad news, of course, was that scientists, like my good friend Aliman, would never get the "proof" they want to justify believing that our psychic healing was the cause behind the effect.

And what if the same is true in the case of Dr Hew Len and HSH? What if all those wheels that Aliman tells us were set in motion to bring about positive changes at HSH were actually a response to one therapist sitting alone in his office focusing his intention on forgiveness and love? What if quantum theory is correct and causality can never really be isolated from effect, and both thoughts and events are like a river where each water molecule is both cause and effect, each pushing the one in front of it even as another molecule is pushing it from behind?

Or, maybe the movie we’re all watching is just a projection like Dr Hew Len says… the product of a single enormous collective unconscious powered by a script we’re all collectively creating from one moment to the next. And what if each one of us has been endowed with the power to edit that script in any way we choose? Do we have the courage to properly wield such power, or will our fear of failure continue to make us shrink from the ominous responsibility of creation? The need for healing on planet Earth has never been greater… not just from illness and disease, but from broken hearts, from regional conflicts, and from environmental misconduct. But if each of us lends a hand, in some small way, maybe we’ll discover, in the end, that we really can heal anyone of anything.
